The dinner mini-buffet was a letdown. It had meat tartare, a few cheeses, one kind of bread roll, two cold cuts and two sauces. I expected something more substantial for dinner. Breakfast for our large group was good and had a reasonable selection, including gluten-free bread, though I didn't see much choice in multigrain bread or rolls. The room was good and the mattress was OK. There isn't an elevator for people with disabilities, and staff smoking heavily at reception left a smoky area between the restaurant and rooms. Prices seemed high, though that may have been due to Covid.

The staff were all very friendly, especially since I barely speak German. I arrived around midnight and found the doors locked and most lights off, so I wasn't sure how to get in. I called the hotel, luckily with European roaming switched on, and a nice man let me inside. The room was mostly nice, but didn't look much like the pictures. It had a strange, almost someone's-home feel, with more than eight beds and even a crib. During the night, several yellow jackets got into the bathroom, which made it hard to use. This is only a review of the hotel part. I only stayed briefly, and hotel standards in America are quite different, so keep that in mind. Sorry, my German isn't very good.

There's plenty of parking and it's easy to get to, with Burg Greene nearby. The place has a countryside feel. The staff are very friendly, and it works well for family celebrations. We had a great meal with Einbeck er beer 🍻.

The food was top-notch for me. Service was really nice, and the location is very good by German standards.
