The room was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and there were a few complimentary things on the table. Staff were very nice, and breakfast was a standard classic buffet. The room felt too small for three people, though, and is really just for sleeping. The location is great: the old town is 3-10 minutes away, Wartburg and Drachenschlucht about 45 minutes, and the bus stop around 5-7 minutes. If you're planning a trip to Eisenach, I'd stay here.

From the moment we arrived, I loved this place. The room was peaceful and spacious, the facilities were amazing, and the staff were lovely. Everything was super. Thank you! Warmest regards, Maya

We were there as part of a group, and one couple couldn't get the room they'd booked in advance because the hotel had double booked it. They only offered a room at a sister hotel after some negotiation. The rooms were dirty, though the location was good. It has Aircon, but NO KETTLE! The shower pressure was good, but the toilet was awkwardly placed and uncomfortable to sit on. There's a launderette around the corner if you need one. Not the best experience.

The staff were nice and helped me switch rooms, and I did find a parking spot each day even though the hotel parking is rather small. Still, I wasn't satisfied with my stay in April 2019. I had a single-standard room that was VERY small, with damaged furniture that looked like it was begging for renovation. The whole hotel seemed old and unrenovated. At first I was given a room beside the elevator shaft. Fortunately I could change it, but the next one was by the stairwell, only a little better.

The bar had a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere in the evenings, and breakfast was excellent. The hotel was beautiful, with a very large, beautifully furnished room, right at the entrance to the downtown area. I highly recommend it.
