The owner was so kind and clearly puts in the effort to make guests feel comfortable. I also liked finding a guest book in the room. This is a family-run place, which I prefer to the bigger hotel businesses, and it made my trip feel more memorable. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient, with attractions in Eisenach and the bus stop for Wartburg castle both easy to reach on foot.

We had the family unit, with two small bedrooms and a lounge with a bed, plus a spacious bathroom of our own. The host made us feel welcome and was really friendly. We skipped the breakfast option, but enjoyed our stay.

I felt safe and relaxed here. Only issue was the Wi-Fi, it wasn't good 🙂
