Ferienweingut - Villa Hausmann

A nice hotel with a great breakfast and really friendly staff.

Team Harmony, the monastery enthusiasts, had a fantastic weekend at the four-star Villa Hausmann guesthouse. The comfort was lovely, but what stood out most was the warm hospitality. The whole weekend had a relaxing, welcoming feel, with plenty to enjoy. The guided wine hike brought us together and gave us new ways to think about both wine and our shared experiences. The scenery was breathtaking. We also had a charming, informative guided tour of Cochem and visited the castle, where history felt alive and a little romantic. The wine tasting was another pleasure. Moselle specialties were carefully paired and presented, and the wines were varied, full of character, surprising and very enjoyable. Later, we took the boat from Cochem to Beilstein. The wine bottles helped make the trip jolly and entertaining, and it’s one we’ll remember for a long time. We ended the day sharing dinner and wine with smiles and good company. Villa Hausmann gave us the ideal setting for a warm, relaxing and informative wine weekend. We felt welcome and well looked after, and Team Harmony will definitely return.

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and we felt at home throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed ending the evening in the shared kitchen, where the well-stocked fridge made it easy to sit together. The wine tasting with Moselle tapas was a real culinary highlight, and breakfast had everything we needed to start the day. Such a lovely place and a welcoming hostess. We’ll definitely return.

Culinary Monday was the standout for us: fantastic wines to taste and food that was absolutely delicious. Breakfast the next morning had such a huge spread of treats, it was almost overwhelming. We had another warm, wonderful stay and felt completely at ease at Villa Hausmann. Thanks so much, dear Stefi, Roswitha, and team. Already looking forward to next year! ❤️
