Boardinghouse am Borkumkai

We loved our stay and would happily come back. The place is a short walk from the ferry and ferry train station, and downtown is a quick ride away. It’s a longer walk without transport, though bikes are available to rent on site. The terrace had a table and two chairs, and inside there was plenty of room to settle in. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with a window and a strong hot shower, and the kitchenette was impressively stocked: fridge, two-burner cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, French Press (!), kettle, dishes, glasses, complimentary water, and first coffee. There was even a clean dish towel, toothbrush cups, and a cover over the shower head after cleaning. The rooms were bright and airy, with tile and carpet, modern furnishings, a TV, lounge chair, closet, and great lighting by the beds, including USB2 and USB3 plugs. The terrace door had integrated blinds, as did the front door. Check-in with the key code was easy. A lot of thought has gone into the details here. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and I travel quite a bit. Fantastic value for money. Wishing the owners all the best, and hoping guests help keep this little gem in good shape.
