We stopped at Haus Wittwer for the night while driving our sailplane from Geneva to Emden, since we had to clear customs nearby in the morning. The hosts were very helpful and let us return after customs to shower and have breakfast. Breakfast alone made the stop worthwhile, with fresh salmon and berries for my wife and really tasty coffee for me. They also had room for my 15m car and trailer. We'll stop again next year when we bring the glider back to Germany for maintenance.

The apartment was comfortable and very clean, and the view was lovely. The host was courteous, and the team was very good. It's in a great location, and the support was much appreciated. Thank you for having us!

I've been staying with Family Wittwer regularly for more than two years. The owners are wonderful, the service is great, and everything is clean and cozy. They're flexible, breakfast is available early, and the value is very good.

The location isn't bad, and the new building is very nice. It has two rooms, a kitchen, and a balcony.

The worst hotel in Emden. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
