The landscape around the building is beautiful, and the apartment itself is tidy, roomy, and well maintained. But the booking description suggested more closeness to the sea or a sea view than there actually is. The water is a two-kilometer walk away. The shower curtain is badly discolored, and there's no shower shelf. Also, people drive past the house at 100 km/h. It made me wonder what might happen if a child ran out from the garden or front door into the road.

We had a nice, quiet stay in the Langeneß apartment with our three dogs. It's spacious and in a great spot, right in Nix. There are lots of good walking routes nearby, and we enjoyed grilling in the garden on our first evening. The kitchen is very well equipped. With all the dog hair, a vacuum in the storage room would be handy, and a shower shelf for shampoo and toiletries would help too. I think we'll be back.

From the house, you can head out for lovely walks along the dike or into the hinterland. It's a peaceful spot right on the dike, and there are tips about the area in the apartment and hallway. We spent three nights in the "Gröde" apartment, a good size for two, with comfortable furnishings, lots of space, and everything clean. Jan was friendly and professional to communicate with. There's a small gym and sauna in an outbuilding, available for a small fee. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

If you want peace and quiet, this place delivers. We had an upstairs apartment overlooking the Wadden Sea, right on the dike. It was clean and had what we needed. There's also a little sauna and some workout equipment, and you can set off hiking straight from the property.
