After such a long trip and everything that came with it, being able to settle in and unwind here felt wonderful. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I really appreciated how helpful they were, and hope I get to stay here again someday. All the best to them.

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon here, and there were tables available without a reservation. The hilltop restaurant is reached by a beautiful drive, with really nice views across the valley. From the Biergarten you can look over at the deer and goats, which guests can feed. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around, plus a separate play area. The food was tasty and high quality, though our main courses felt a little small for dishes costing over 20€. Staff were kind and friendly, but a bit slow to notice when we needed more drinks or wanted to order something else.

Kids can feed the goats, run around, and play, and the staff are really friendly. This lovely family restaurant has been around for more than 50 years. I’d recommend it for a decent meal, especially the pork schnitzel, the best I’ve ever had. The starter prawns are delicious too.

During Messe time in Köln, we couldn't find a suitable room in town, but came across this nice hotel out in the quiet countryside. The staff were kind, and everything was simply good. Breakfast was delicious.
