It’s a clean, welcoming place to stop while on the road, and the food was surprisingly good for a rest stop with lots of choices. The salad bar was very fresh and tasty, though a bit expensive.

There’s a spacious restaurant area too, though I didn’t eat there. The coffee shop was one of the nicest I’ve seen in Germany, with lots of comfortable spots to sit, sip coffee, and take a break.

The place is clean and roomy, and the toilets were clean too. The staff were friendly. Food was pretty expensive, though I’m not sure what’s normal for a rest stop. Salad was €4 per 100g, the Bratwurst was €5.80 and tasted just okay, and it wasn’t warm even though it had been heated. The Spätzle cost €4.80 and was okay as well.

The staff were super friendly, thoughtful, and helpful, definitely the hotel’s strongest point. Since it’s so close to the highway, I expected better insulation. You can hear almost everything, including the neighbors very clearly.

We pulled in late at night while driving and wanted something to eat. The waiter was really nice and quick-thinking, suggested dinner for us, and prepared everything with care. The beer was good too. I’ll definitely stop here again next time I’m driving through.
