My wife, our two kids, and I really enjoyed staying here. It felt like a family-run place, and the hospitality was outstanding. We ate at the restaurant both nights. The food was very good, though not wildly amazing. On the first night I had the chicken cordon bleu, which was super tasty but not very healthy. The second night I ordered the Lachsforelle fish dish, which was really good and healthy. I’d definitely recommend staying here and making use of the restaurant while you’re there.

We ended up eating here every day of our four-day stay in Enzklosterle and tried a lot of the menu. The food was authentic German, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable, so it felt like great value. It’s a family-run hotel and restaurant, with warm, cheerful staff who were happy to explain dishes. You can ask for an English menu. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and the Wi-Fi was good. The kitchen closes at 2pm and 9pm. A couple of tips: lunch menus are a steal. The restaurant is easy to miss because there’s no name-board, but it’s next to the Metzgerei.
