Peter and Edeltraud welcomed us to their beautiful place, and we had such a wonderful stay. Our family of four found the apartment layout just right, with a thoughtful, well-equipped kitchen. The kids loved the playground and spent hours there, and the huge indoor playroom gave them plenty to do when they wanted to stay inside. There’s even a full bowling (Kegeln) lane! The horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, and Willi the dog made the whole experience even more special. We especially enjoyed the welcome dinner, easy evening chats with our hosts, and the Kutschenfahrt, which was fun for everyone. We’re looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Bayerischen Wald.

Our autumn holiday was wonderful, thank you! One evening we gathered in the living room for little treats and drinks, heard some of the hosts’ interesting life story, and got a few useful excursion tips. The Aktivcard also made it easy for us to explore the Bavarian Forest. We stayed 11 days in the traditional Bavarian Vogelnest (Bird's Nest). The other apartments have more amenities, but this one was quite enough for us. Edeltraud and Peter are special hosts. There’s plenty for children to enjoy, from the play barn and playground to the animals, plus carriage rides and pony rides with Rocky.

As out-of-town visitors, we booked a carriage ride at this charming farm in a small village. It turned out to be a wonderful experience, and they even gave us something warm for the journey. The hosts were very friendly. Many thanks to the Schmid family!

We really enjoyed our time with the Schmid family in the Bavarian Forest. The spacious apartments are well equipped, and the hosts are so friendly. It’s a great base for outings, with national parks and plenty of other excursions easy to reach. Many thanks to the Schmid family. Best regards.

Our two children loved being close to the farm animals and seeing everyday farm life. From the moment we arrived, Edeltraud and Peter made us feel welcome with their warm, attentive manner. A highlight was an evening together with them, hearing about their lives and enjoying excellent food. That personal, family friendly atmosphere made our four days especially memorable. We’re heading home with lovely memories and can warmly recommend the farm to families or anyone wanting to experience rural life and genuine hospitality.
