The grounds were kept in good shape and had nicer facilities than many campgrounds, but arriving for the first time during the Corona season was tricky. Reception was shut, and phone calls only reached a recorded message. Email was the only way to contact anyone, though they did respond fairly quickly. I hadn't realized in advance that tent pitches were first come, first served. The machine assigned me a pitch number, which made that unclear. Check-in, bread and breakfast orders, and boat tour bookings all went through an ATM-style machine. I also normally borrow a power adapter at reception, but couldn't with the desk closed, so I had to rush to a Baumarkt to buy one.

There's a pool nearby that was good for kids, with a shallow 0.5 m section that gradually gets deeper. A family ticket for four cost 5.5 euros. At the campsite, the gentleman at reception was kind, and you can book a pitch yourself at the parking machine. It was a good place for the night, with the option to pay separately for a private toilet if you have trouble using the shared one.

A beautiful area, and a great campsite for the family. The facilities were all very clean and looked after well.

The reception staff were friendly, and the location was peaceful and well kept. There's more to explore in the region, too.
10/10
A good spot for cycle campers, with good pitches and facilities.
