Zum Pinzger is no longer there. The restaurant is now Indian, called Madame Curry, and has its own Google Maps listing. This page is basically a duplicate of the Alpenhotel, which also has its own Google Maps presence. Their website can give the misleading impression that they still serve traditional Bavarian beer garden food.

We went for our station meal before Christmas, and they opened especially for us even though they were actually closed. That was really nice of them, and deserves a plus. It was a first visit for me and a few others. The Indian restaurant has only been open since mid-October 2023, so keep that in mind and don't be misled by older reviews. The menu is small but sufficient, with lots of different Indian dishes. I started with Indian-style cheese and vegetables, which was very good, then had shrimp and naan with cheddar, also very good. For dessert I had ice cream with whipped cream and mango puree, possibly with coconut flakes. Everyone enjoyed the meal; nobody had anything negative to say. The staff were very friendly and attentive too. We'll be back!
