I found the stay nostalgic and really enjoyed it. The room was basic but very clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were VERY friendly. We also had dinner at the restaurant a couple of evenings and were pleased with the quality and authentic dishes and flavours. The team is upfront that some parts of the hotel are outdated, and that this is reflected in the prices. I'd certainly visit again.

The rooms were spacious and well equipped, though a little noisy. The restaurant had a good range of Bavarian food at fair prices, and the hotel was conveniently placed for an easy drive to Schongau. I spent one night at Hotel-Gasthof Zum Dragoner and was comfortable overall. There may be some noise, but if you can live with that and want good value, it could work well for a stay near Schongau.

The rooms were clean, and the maid was very kind. The restaurant food was good, though it's best to reserve a table. Parking and WiFi are free, but parking is usually full around dinner time, with no space reserved for hotel guests. Connecting to the WiFi was a nightmare.

A really nice place with a great restaurant. The room was small, but had everything to feel comfortable. The food looked good, though it was very salty.

Nice room, a good breakfast buffet, and an excellent dinner.
