It's a lovely village to stay in, with a nice walk around it and plenty of history. The hotel sits in a beautiful area, close to everything, and there are excellent coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Just being in the village is reason enough to come. One thing to keep in mind: parking can be difficult at busy times.

We've come back for a second visit in just two months. It's a lovely family run hotel, managed by a very nice lady, with huge, quiet rooms a couple of km from Michelstade. It's quaint rather than a big corporate place, with secure parking and a great breakfast. 👍

A very good hotel with clean rooms. A handy place to spend the night while hiking through the Odenwald forest.
