Landurlaub bei Familie Haug

My son especially loved helping with the stable chores each day. The Lusen apartment was clean and tastefully decorated, and we had a wonderful short stay with the Haug family. Thanks again for such a lovely visit.

We came back for a second stay in the historic house, and we're sure we'll return again. The hosts are wonderful, and the "Lusen" apartment was comfortable for the three of us. It's also a great starting point for hikes and other lovely outings. Many thanks to the Haug family for another wonderful visit.

The area is lovely for hiking, swimming in the many lakes, and day trips to the Czech Republic. We stayed five people in the spacious, well-equipped "Rachel" apartment in this beautifully renovated old house, and the hosts were very friendly. Keep in mind that it's in the attic, so the windows are limited, and the mini dishwasher felt small for five. Also, this isn't a riding stable that offers lessons or horseback rides.

The Bavarian Forest made for wonderful days, with hikes starting right at the front door and many towns within easy reach, including Passau, Grafenau, and Grosser Arber. We've stayed with the Haug family four times and have always been happy. They're unique, great hosts, and we felt at ease from the very first minute. The house and apartment have a rustic feel, but they're very nice, and the riding stable surroundings are beautiful. There are lots of places to visit around Freyung. We haven't made our last trip here yet.
