Best Western Hotel Muenchen Airport

Breakfast was fine, but our night cost almost EUR 240 for a 3-bed room, and that third bed was a mess. It creaked with every movement, so we couldn't sleep all night. Coffee and water were supposed to come with room service, but there were only 2x instant coffee sachets and 2x bottles of water for all 3 of us.

The breakfast was killer, and the shower was a big plus for me. So many hotels have weak water pressure, but that wasn't a problem here. The room was very comfortable, and it's within a 15 minute drive from the airport. I'll stay again and would recommend it to others.

We only slept here to be closer to the airport. The hotel bar seemed lively in the evening, which was nice since there's not much else to do in the area. The hotel is simple and straightforward, with clean rooms and a hot shower. There wasn't much else on offer, and we didn't need more.

My son still found a larger piece of glass in the bathroom, even after the room looked cleaner when we returned from Therme Erding. Earlier, my wife had gotten a shard in her foot, and I had already pulled a tiny piece of glass from my own foot after putting the kids to bed. Once I looked closely, there were tiny sharp fragments and larger pieces all over the bathroom floor. I alerted the same receptionist again. She was very kind and apologetic, but communication was difficult. When I said I'd pulled glass from her foot, she asked, "the foot of the hotel?" to show how hard it was to communicate. At first, we hadn't noticed the glass because we were wearing shoes or socks. The receptionist tried to help, but there was no vacuum or dustpan anywhere in the hotel. She kindly offered another room, but the kids were already asleep, so we didn't want to move. We cleaned up what we could and checked with reception that the room would be cleaned more thoroughly while we were at Therme Erding. The lady at reception had awful English, but she did try to help. Our breakfast bill was €61, which was far from worth it. I asked the gentleman if he could apply a discount, but he said he couldn't. They offered some snacks and drinks for the road instead, about €10-15 compensation for a nightmare stay. I've never had such a bad hotel experience in over 10 countries. I'm sure the staff meant well, and things like this can happen. The staff were kind, but management caused the real harm by offering no decent compensation. The manager didn't even have the guts to apologize to us in person.
