Apartment Junger-Moritz IV

It's a beautiful apartment with modern furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen. Some units have a spacious terrace. Right by "Little Venice" and one street from the cathedral square, it's central and close to the lively old town. It isn't cheap, but worth the price.

The garden view from the small dining table is lovely, looking through a large window onto the beautifully landscaped and planted space with several comfortable places to sit. We got a very warm welcome from the hostess, and the apartment is both practical and tastefully furnished. The modern kitchenette is especially well equipped, with a small two-burner stove, a sufficiently large refrigerator, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, and various cooking utensils. In the bedroom there's a sofa and a television with satellite TV. Wi-Fi reception is excellent and the internet is fast. The beds are comfortable and firm enough to be "back-friendly." The apartment is lovingly furnished and sits near Erfurt's expansive old town, with restaurants and plenty of shops. Cathedral Square and Petersberg Citadel are an easy walk away. There is no parking in front of the building without a resident parking permit, but a large parking garage is near Cathedral Square, about a 10-minute walk away. A day ticket costs €12. This is a real gem and well worth the price. We'd gladly stay at the "Junger Moritz" again if we return to Erfurt.

The apartment is very tastefully furnished and has everything you need. The old town sights are all within walking distance. The landlady is friendly and happy to give tips and directions for excursions and sightseeing. Highly recommended. It's best to book the parking space at the same time, for a small fee.

The landlords were friendly, and we found Erfurt’s main sights easy to reach on foot from this spot in the old town. The apartment itself has a lovely terrace and garden, and the old place has been restored beautifully with modern finishes. Everything was clean. We’d happily recommend it.
