Good Morning Erfurt East Hotel

We'd stay again if we needed a place on a long drive. The low price and convenient check-in and check-out times made it a good one-night stop. Staff were very nice, and they even had free coffee by the entrance for people heading out. That was a nice touch. Breakfast had a generous range of the usual dairy, eggs, and meat, but nothing vegan for me, which I guess is normal at a budget hotel. I had read about room Wi-Fi problems in a booking-site comment, so I called and emailed to say we really needed a good connection. After pushing the issue, we got a room with decent reception, though the internet itself was pretty slow.

The beds were comfortable and breakfast was decent. For an overnight stop the place is fine for the price, but I wouldn't choose it for a holiday. The hotel needs a lot of care, and even a fresh coat of paint would help.

The internet was so bad, probably around 50 kb/s, that even pictures wouldn't load. I've seen cleaner places too, but c'est la vie. With so many rooms, choosing the cheapest internet plan makes it seem like they aren't trying to cover even the basics for guests.

We booked one room for one night, and it was in very bad shape. The towels weren't clean, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and the trash hadn't been emptied. When we asked to change rooms, the receptionist refused and was arrogant.
