Limehome Erfurt Bürgermeister-Wagner-Straße

The flat is right by the station, so the location is very central, and it's furnished and equipped just like the catalog ;-) The bedroom stays nice and quiet, but the sofa bed for the third person was really uncomfortable. At weekends, people party at night in the station parking lot outside the living room windows, sometimes until just after 6 a.m.

We had a spacious apartment that worked perfectly for a stay of several days, and it was very clean, as I've come to expect from LimeHome. The bedroom looks onto the courtyard, so it was quiet overnight, and around 10:30 pm the area beside the main train station was fairly quiet too. I parked for free next to the Prizotel and walked the five minutes to the apartment. It had towels, a hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, and everything else needed day to day. They also leave out coffee and a few kinds of tea at no charge, a really nice touch.

The soundproof windows kept the nearby train station from disturbing us. Our room was large and very nice, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed.

The bedroom was a little less noisy because its windows and balcony face the courtyard, but the street noise from two sides was still a problem. The apartment itself is spacious, generally nice, and has the basics. The cleanliness was awful. Dust covered every surface, and there was dust and lint on the floors, sofa, cushions, and rug. The sofa was rock hard and no good for sitting or sleeping. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures were covered in limescale, the mirrors were still dirty from the previous guests, and the sink and drainboard were dirty and scaled too. Even the shower grout by the drain looked dirty. We found cleaning products in a storage room that was just as filthy, and ended up wiping down every room before we unpacked. There were spare pillows and blankets packed into the wardrobe from top to bottom, leaving no room to hang our clothes. It could have been a nice, practical apartment, but the dirt made the stay very unpleasant and uncomfortable. We'll never use this provider again.
