The breakfast was a real highlight during the week I stayed, and the dining room felt homey enough to chat with the other guests. Wi-Fi worked well on the first floor, though not upstairs. The price is cheap, but the service felt uncomfortable because it was hard to find the receptionist. It's also quite a distance from the city center, Anger.

We've stayed at Pension Reuss four times, and it's a lovely, cozy place in Erfurt. The two new owners are so friendly and helpful, and we're sure we'll be back. There's a small bedroom and a living room in the rented room, plus a little refrigerator. The rooms and breakfast room have wonderful antique furnishings. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and drinks are available all day on an honor system, with payment written down for later. Guests can park on the side street. The tram stop is an easy walk away, and Anger Square is only a short ride. For a walk, the route by the Gera River to the Krämerbrücke (Merchants' Bridge) is well worth it.

The old town is about a 20-minute walk away, and the spot is quiet and ideally located. Our room had lovely furnishings and even a separate bedroom, a real luxury in a guesthouse. Breakfast was prepared with such care, so make sure to try it. We'd be glad to come back.
