The owners were welcoming and helpful, and gave us useful ideas for seeing Erfurt. It's a well-situated guesthouse, with a functionally furnished room and a perfectly reasonable price.

Right at the edge of the old town, this is an ideal location. Our apartment was clean and just the right size, with a modern bathroom and shower. The room and breakfast room are beautifully furnished in a historic style. The hosts were warm and accommodating, and we'd gladly stay again.

We managed an early check-in without any trouble and got a warm welcome. Our room was upstairs on the first floor, rustic in keeping with the historic building, and absolutely quiet both day and night. Breakfast could be added to the booking, and it was delicious, with special requests taken care of. We came for a weekend to explore Erfurt's old town after our original plans to visit had been cancelled. The guesthouse is so central that we chose to travel without a car. The host was friendly, and we'd love to return.

There's a little stream gently babbling outside the window, and the rooms have everything you might need. The house's rustic look suits its half-timbered architecture perfectly. We felt right at home, with everything cozy and comfortably warm. At Christmas the breakfast room is decorated with care, and a generous breakfast comes with a lovely view of the town center all dressed up for the holidays. Highly recommended.
