Zimmervermietung Dalberg

The room was basically fine, and I’d book it again, though I’d choose a different room next time. The lamps by the bed were much too bright, with ceiling lights over the bedside table that don’t work well as bedside lamps. Leave them off and you might be sitting in the dark. The floor lamp gives usable evening light, but doesn’t light the side of the bed facing away from you. A few other things weren’t great. Eating in the room isn’t allowed, and there’s only one key even when two people are staying, which makes you incredibly inflexible since you can’t leave the house without it because there’s an outside gate. The landlady seemed uptight and fussy about several things, with “a thousand signs” about what you can and can’t do, though there weren’t any major problems in the end. Street parking costs €10 per 24 hours, which adds to the stay, and unlike other nearby guesthouses, there’s no parking spot assigned to the room. The price shown on Google is wrong, 82 instead of 71 euros, and breakfast isn’t included despite what it says there.

Even with the summer heat, the room stayed cool and shaded. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and check-in was hassle-free. I booked again at short notice for an event and slept well. I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

For a one-night stopover, I booked a night in advance. Check-in was very straightforward, and the room was cozy. The lovely breakfast and super friendly staff were the absolute highlights.

Breakfast was generous and nicely arranged, and the hostess was warm and helpful. Our double room was roomy and spotless. The guesthouse has lovely, carefully thought-out decor, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the town center. We’d happily recommend it.
