We arrived after an emotional funeral elsewhere in the area and found exactly the peaceful place we needed. Hotel Schwanenhof is quiet and immaculately clean, with friendly staff and a lovely restaurant. It’s also modern. We’d definitely recommend it.

I’ve been coming here at least twice a year since 2020, and I usually stay for at least a month each time. The rooms are warm and comfortable, cleaned every day, with water provided. The cleaning is on another level. There’s a large, free car park too. The family who run the place are kind and very friendly, and the owner treats you like one of their own. The waiters are mostly students and are very smart. The chefs are teenagers, and they’re always bringing something amazing to the plates. The menu is varied, with something new every week, so I never get bored and there’s plenty to choose from. I recommend this place for a trip, as a traveler, or just for a delicious meal in Erkelenz!

We were in this very small town for dinner at a nearby restaurant. The hotel was on summer break, so there was no staff around, but the self-check-in instructions were clear. Our room was clean, with a new bathroom and comfortable beds. Check-out was simple, though the 10 am time felt a bit early. We asked about checking out later and were given an extra 30 minutes.

The food was very nice and the service excellent. The apartment was perfect for a family member who uses a wheelchair. We’ll be back!
