It’s a centrally located traditional Bavarian hotel, close to the train station, and the price is reasonable at €69 with breakfast. During the trade fair, though, €105 including breakfast feels steep for Erlangen. The rooms are clean, but the street facing ones are noisy with buses passing constantly, while the rooms in the covered courtyard are rather dark. The heating barely worked, so it wasn’t very warm. Breakfast is limited and not all of it seems fresh, though you can find good choices among it. The owners are friendly. The place is okay as it is, but could use a renovation.

Everything was clean and in working order, and the staff were friendly. The decor feels dated, though. We missed breakfast, but there are lots of cafes nearby. Right beside the train station, the hotel makes it easy to get around, yet it stays quiet. Erlangen itself isn’t a noisy place anyway. I’d call it a good stay.

I could walk to many places in Erlangen, and several bus stops are just a few meters from the hotel. The train to Nuremberg took under 30 minutes. The location offered good value for the price. My room was spacious enough, had everything I needed, and I didn’t hear bothersome street noise. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The reservation was straightforward, with all the arrival details sent ahead. I enjoyed the stay, and the staff were friendly.

A small, very central hotel that was clean and easy to stay in. The room was tidy and had everything needed for my short business visit. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is handy for a bed and breakfast. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was good value. They don’t have specialty coffees like latte macchiato, but the filter coffee was good and enough for me. A good choice if you arrive by train.

The room and bathroom were both clean and tidy, but breakfast was a letdown. Both juices in the buffet carafes tasted a little fermented, and the big Nutella jar was only a third full and looked like it might have been sitting there for months. The bread rolls were basic, while the fruit salad was okay. I didn’t feel like eating anything else. Even with few guests at the hotel, paying guests should be able to expect breakfast items that are tasty and edible.
