Winneburger Hof

Parking right outside the front door was handy. The ground-floor apartment has a large bedroom with a roomy ensuite wet room, plus a second double bedroom with its own ensuite shower. There’s also a good kitchen and living room. As a wheelchair user, I found the facilities excellent, the best we’ve had in Germany.

We’ll definitely be back. The apartments are really lovely and very, very clean, and the wines on offer are amazing. At night the inside yard feels like a fairytale. The hosts were all friendly and welcoming. Thank you, Winneburger!

The location is handy, on a side street about 50 meters from good walking and cycling paths beside the Moselle. Shops and places to eat are within walking distance, including a butcher, bakery, supermarket, and restaurants. The owner was very friendly. We stayed in the adapted Moselschiefer apartment. It has a spacious, cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen, though we did miss having a cheese slicer 😉. The large bedroom has a double bed, one side of which is height adjustable. There’s a spacious bathroom with a wheelchair-accessible sink and sturdy shower seat, plus a second, non-adapted bedroom with its own bathroom. The furnishings are tasteful, and the materials and fittings are clearly good quality. The mattresses felt very hard to us. We’d highly recommend the apartment.

The senior owner welcomed us and said goodbye in a very friendly way, and we felt completely at home. We’ll definitely return to this lovely apartment for two, which was very well maintained and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. Although the house is close to the main road, it’s very quiet. Guests can store bikes in a smaller, separate building and have a key. The Moselle riverbank, with separate paths for pedestrians and cyclists, is less than 50 meters away.
