The beds were so comfortable that we slept well every night, and the parking made arrival and departure easy. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well looked after. From the start, the owner made us feel welcome, and the staff were always easy to reach whenever we had a question or needed help. I was very happy with our stay and would choose this hotel again on my next visit. I can definitely recommend it.

Our room was clean and as expected, but the public areas on the main floor, including the breakfast area and lounge, were closed off and being used as private space while we were there. Breakfast was limited, with no buffet, so we went to a nearby bakery for coffee and a bread roll instead. There’s also a large supermarket and a liquor store about a three-minute walk away, so food and drink are easy to find while staying at Margaretenhof.

The receptionist was friendly when we arrived, and when there was no cab, a Bosnian lady even took us to the S-Bahn. The room lighting was extremely dim, though, and the hotel seemed more suited to people doing installation work. Breakfast was fairly priced. Just be aware that it’s in the middle of nowhere.

We only stayed one night and skipped breakfast, so I can’t comment on the food. The place closed at 3pm that day, but they left us a code to get our keys from the safe box by the main entrance. Our dog was welcome to stay with us. The room was tidy, everything worked, and the beds were really comfortable.
