H+ Hotel Frankfurt Eschborn

Room cleaning isn't provided automatically. If you want your room cleaned, you have to ask the day before, by 7 pm. There isn't a clear guide explaining that, and you can't call reception directly. When I asked the reception staff about it, they didn't know what to do. The staff didn't seem professional. I'd only suggest staying here for one night.

+ The room was clean, and the bathroom was spotless and spacious, with a magnifying vanity mirror. + The beds were comfortable and the doors felt sturdy and heavy. + A smart panel in the room lets you control the lighting, AC and other things. + There was enough seating in the lobby, and the hotel has a lift.

The food was solid and I liked the rooms, so I was looking forward to coming back. Then they charged me twice. They said the refund would take 10 days, and after that declared bankruptcy.

The property is modern, rates are affordable and the rooms have good features. There's on-site dining with a strong selection, especially at breakfast, though it costs 18 Euros per person. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. We had several problems, though. Neither TV in our family room got a signal, and the door between the two sections wouldn't lock. Staff refused to give us a key. During the warm summer weather the air conditioning wasn't working. We asked staff several times and got unhelpful advice. At first they said the systems were fine, then eventually admitted they couldn't arrange service over the weekend, probably after other guests complained too. We had to sleep with the windows open to make the room bearable. Nearby parking cost 15 Euros a night, but they waived the charge at checkout after we raised the issues. The hotel's parking is on the sixth floor of the garage, reached by a dizzying spiral of ramps. We also found a fairly large dead bug in the room before leaving.
