Cozy Holiday Home On The Heidegut In Eschede

A nice reset from the usual everyday stress. The cabins are clean and set up practically, and the horse rides are lovingly supervised. It's a friendly, family-run farm with horses, ponies, and chickens.

We stayed in the smallest holiday apartment for a few days. It was a simple wooden cabin, but charmingly rustic and had everything we needed. The owners are incredibly friendly, and dogs are welcome. Our dog had a great time there, too, and we'd happily return. It's a lovely old stud farm with huge riding facilities and lots of stables. The property is a little tucked away in the woods, but we could easily drive out and explore different places. It seems ideal for families with children.

The children couldn't get enough of the ponies and horses. We felt welcome right away, and the apartment matched its description exactly. It stayed warm and cozy even on cold days, and they quickly helped us with a small special request. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

There was plenty of room for the children to play, with a playground and open space to run around. The value for the price was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay. We'd love to come back. We were there with our children and pony. The log cabin was extremely cozy, the welcome was warm, and our pony had a luxury stall with easy access to the pasture and paddock. The facilities are fantastic and well maintained: two indoor arenas, one with a full show jumping course, two pleasant dressage arenas, a lungeing ring, and a cross-country course beside the arena. There's also a larger cross-country course about a 20-30 minute ride away. The surrounding area is great for riding, and the staff gave us useful route suggestions.
