The owners were the best part of an already wonderful place. They welcomed us with wine and candy, brought homemade "kuchen" made by their mother, and left thoughtful food gifts at the front door from time to time. We were four US adults in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, with private bedrooms and bathrooms, each with a great shower. Everything was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, and the view of the Alps was so beautiful it almost didn’t seem real. We could even hear cow bells gently tinkling in the background. For a wonderful vacation in a fairy tale setting, like Sound of Music, this is the rental for you.

The view and the peace and quiet at Lärcheck are indescribable. You can truly unwind, while still reaching everywhere easily by car. Wiesentraum was just right for four people, furnished with so much care and attention to detail that we loved every touch. Our hostess’s daily recommendations and morning newsletter were especially appreciated, and someone was always available with helpful tips. I’ve never stayed anywhere so lovely. We have wonderful holiday memories and would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

We loved the mountains and the Berchtesgaden region, and we’re heading home with unforgettable memories. The house’s view and location are fantastic, and Morgensonne was incredibly comfortable for the three of us, with everything we needed and more. Dear Christa and Christian, thank you for all the thoughtful touches and surprises for our son. The Bundt cake waiting for us on arrival was delicious, and the morning newsletter was a lovely way to start each day. We loved how quiet and tucked away it felt, with no traffic and a real chance to switch off. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, and the hosts were wonderfully welcoming. Parking is right outside, including a wallbox for electric cars. Just note that you’ll need to drive for meals or shopping. A fantastic place to stay.
