Gästehaus, Das Fischerhus

The Bruns family made us feel welcome right away at the Fischerhus in Bensersiel. Our apartment was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was quiet there, but the beach and town center were only minutes away. The hosts were warm, family-friendly, and always helpful with questions or local tips. It felt like a home away from home. We’ll definitely return and would wholeheartedly recommend the apartment.

The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, even letting us check in when we arrived much too early. When we had a small issue, they took care of it right away and to our satisfaction. We stayed six nights at the Bruns family's Fischerhus and felt right at home. Our cozy room had good mattresses and a park view. There’s a shared living room and kitchen where we had breakfast, read, and played games in the evenings. Parking was always available, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the other guests were friendly. It’s a very ordinary place, and the value for money was excellent. We’d book the Fischerhus again in a heartbeat.

The apartment was super clean, and both the modern bathroom and kitchen were well equipped. The beach and shops are easy to reach on foot. We had such a lovely time at the Fischerhus and would love to return. Thanks to the Bruns family for making us feel so welcome :)

Apartment 1 on the first floor worked well for our weeklong stay. It’s spacious enough for two or three people, impeccably clean, and has comfortable mattresses. The kitchenette had all we needed to cook, though storage is a little tight. There’s room for a small extra shelf in the kitchen. The TV and internet both worked perfectly. The location is excellent: a bakery is next door, the supermarket is five minutes away, and the beach takes no more than ten minutes on foot. Restaurants are also easy to walk to. There are some hotel rooms downstairs, along with a kitchenette and shared room in the lower hallway. Everything seemed very well thought out, and we enjoyed our stay.
