I found this lovely guesthouse at short notice while visiting Esens. The owners were very welcoming, flexible, and accommodating, and I felt right at home in my comfortably and tastefully furnished room. Coffee and tea were provided, and I could park right outside the house.

We booked at short notice for the shooting festival, and check-in and check-out were quick and easy 👌. The room was bright and nicely decorated, with a great mattress 😴. Tea and snacks were included. Highly recommended 😃

The location is ideal, with Esens town centre only a few steps away and trips around the area easy to reach. There is free parking at the house, and coffee and tea are provided at no cost. The rooms are bright and pleasant, though the sloping ceiling takes getting used to if you're tall. I hit my head several times. The landlord is very friendly and laid-back. The floorboards creak, which is the only annoying thing, though it probably bothers the other guests more than us. If we return to Esens, we'd definitely consider Landlaus Lillesand.

The owner was friendly, and we got a free upgrade on arrival, which was a nice surprise. The rooms look great and are tastefully decorated, and coffee and tea are free. But the shower had no proper working head, the one there was broken and tangled. The TV was tied down so it was hard to watch from bed, and there was only half a roll of toilet paper when we arrived 😓. There was never anyone around to talk to about it. Such a shame, because they could make this place really good.

Everything was fine overall. The rooms were clean and nice, and the location was really good. Coffee and tea were free. A small fridge would've been nice.
