The Deichkieker apartment is quiet, with a view of the dike and plenty of nature around it. It’s beautifully furnished with care, very clean, and has everything you need. We spent 10 wonderful days there and felt at home right away. The welcome was incredibly warm, and the hosts were kind, friendly, and accommodating. The price is excellent for what you get. We’re thrilled and can highly recommend Verschmitzt am Meer. If you’re looking for a lovely vacation, stay with the Schmitz family. Thanks so much, we’ll definitely come back! ❤️☀️💐

I’ve never left a Google review before, but these hosts really deserve one 🥰. Christiane, the hostess, was always available and shared lots of great tips. We stayed in the “Thalasso” apartment and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. It was spotless, very cozy, thoughtfully put together, and had everything we needed. The location is ideal too, with shops, the dike, and the beach just a few minutes away on foot. Top-notch 👍!

The grounds are well kept, the booking was easy, and we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift. We immediately felt at home in the Sanddorn holiday apartment. It’s clean, fantastic, and decorated with care. Everything is easy to reach on foot, and we had a few wonderful days there.

With two adults and four small children, we found the Sanddorn apartment spacious enough to spend the day comfortably indoors, even when the weather was bad or too hot. Christiane Schmitz was always available in case of emergencies and gave us great tips. The beach, harbor, supermarket, restaurants, and ice cream places are all walkable. We had a truly relaxing, wonderful week. One tip: rent a beach chair by the sea for the week (€45) and leave the sand toys there, so you don’t have to carry them around every day with the kids.
