I booked another room for my return to Esens. As usual, the hosts were lovely and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I always enjoy staying there and can highly recommend the place. See you soon, Family Kraus. 🙂

Pension Kraus has a lovely, peaceful setting, while the charming center of Esens is only a few minutes away. Mr. Kraus is a wonderful host, and breakfast is fantastic. I absolutely recommend staying here. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!!!!!

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and they accommodated special requests at breakfast, which was absolutely fine. This two-star guesthouse is in a quiet, prime location, about a five-minute walk from the city center. The rooms are clean and OK, though a bit dated, and the beds were good.

We booked room 2 for our 14-day stay and were given an apartment instead. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was served at a time that suited us, with bakery rolls, sliced bread, sausage or cheese, jam, quark, eggs, and a pot of coffee. We could ask for more whenever we wanted. Mr. Kraus was very friendly, and we felt comfortable there. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were very comfortable in this cozy guesthouse in a quiet residential area. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Kraus, do everything they can to make guests feel welcome. They prepared breakfast with care, and we enjoyed the conversations. Thanks for the air conditioning :-) The center, with restaurants, shops, and bike rentals, is a little over a 10-minute walk away. There are lovely bike paths to the sluices over the dam.
