Everything was really great. The only thing missing for me was a gym, though there's a good running track right in front of the hotel.

The rooms are huge, clean, and practical for a congress or business meeting, and the location is beautiful. Breakfast offered lots of choices. There were vegan options for lunch and dinner too, though the steak was delicious. An incredible park with wildlife and hiking areas is near the hotel.

We found the Atlantic Hotel clean and well kept, with a stylish bar and a great breakfast selection. The staff were helpful and friendly during our stay. Parking was the big problem: you can't reserve it ahead, and when we arrived the hotel's car park was full. We had to leave the car about a 20-minute walk away, which took away much of the convenience of the location. A more dependable parking option would make the stay better.

A good choice if you're visiting Essen University Hospital. The rooms are large and clean, and shops and restaurants are nearby.

Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly. They even let me print a few pages. The modern rooms are big and the shower is great. Breakfast was very expensive, though also very good. All the pillows were too big for me, and I wish they'd had some thinner ones.
