I arrived at 10:30 pm and only then found out check-in was limited to 10 pm. I called the hotel, and they cancelled my booking without a fee, but I had to find somewhere else to stay that late. It might be a nice place otherwise.

The breakfast was perfect and the hotel was clean. It’s a small, family-run place with super friendly staff. The one downside for a non-smoker is the strong cigarette smell.

A comfortable, clean room and a good location made this a nice choice for a business stay in Essen. Breakfast was tasty, filling, and served in generous portions.

The owners were nice, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The rooms are quite large, though a little worn; the bathroom, on the other hand, felt really fresh.

We stayed for two nights and were comfortable. The host was really nice and friendly too. We highly recommend it.
