We stopped at the café for coffee and ice cream, though we weren’t staying at the hotel. The Schlemmerbecher Obstsalat and Eiskaffee were both delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Everything was served beautifully. Definitely worth dropping in if you’re nearby.

The setting by the main-donal canal is lovely, with hikes, bike rides, and castles close by. I’ve come here nearly 10 times since moving to Germany about a year and a half ago, and my family members who visited from abroad have even asked to return. The food is consistently excellent, the staff are wonderful, and the beer is worth trying too, especially a rotbier or helles. Summer gets very busy, which is why I marked the service down a little. It’s also about a 30-minute drive for me.

My family had a great time here. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were polite and professional, and the owner is a great guy. The food was incredible too. I’d highly recommend the restaurant.

I was especially impressed when I left my AirPods behind in the rush of a business trip and the hotel promptly sent them to me free of charge. That thoughtfulness really stood out. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the service was outstanding. The onsite restaurant was convenient as well, with quick, delicious meals. I’d highly recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, service, and dining.

The patio overlooking the river has absolutely beautiful scenery, making this a great lunch stop. Their bratwurst goes really well with the Bock beer. They also serve very traditional Bavarian food.
