Ecoinn Hotel Am Campus

We really liked the breakfast and the clean rooms, along with the service and how close it was to the town center.

My partner was especially taken with the view of the water through the lobby floor and the information about how the hotel is powered. He also thought it was the best hotel breakfast he’d ever had. The room had a dorm-like feel, which was fine, but it was so hot that we slept with the window open even in December. Aside from that, it was very good.

I was surprised to find a receptionist who spoke my language. The room was clean and simple, and breakfast was very good, with plenty of both sweet food and salad. The hotel is lovely and right by the city center, and it’s easy to reach by car. There’s no dedicated hotel parking, though, so you may want to plan ahead. There are a few spaces on the street outside, but they’re public and some cost money.

The room got really hot, even with the curtains closed or the windows open overnight. The hotel felt a little practical for a holiday, though it suited my business trip. I liked the room, the pleasant breakfast area, and the small terrace. Staff were quietly efficient, and breakfast had everything, from cereal to boiled eggs, with most of it in fair-trade quality.
