The hotel is modern, in very good condition, and was recently renovated. My room was in perfect order, well equipped, and had a private safe. It’s about 1.5 km from Esslingen’s historic centre, with the Old Town an easy walk away. Parking on site costs exactly €15 per day. There’s no desk in the room, which could be inconvenient for business travellers. I used the comfortable shared workspace in the lobby instead. I’d definitely recommend this high-quality hotel.
10/10
I spent two weeks here on a business trip from the US. There aren’t many amenities, with no laundry service or phone in the room, but what they do provide is well supported. The daily cleaning was great and breakfast was decent. The bartenders were friendly and good to talk with, and several restaurants are within walking distance.
6/10
The hotel is generally fine, but working on my laptop was quite uncomfortable because my room had no desk. That makes it far from ideal for business travellers who need to work. I don’t know whether every room is the same.

For a one-night stay at this Holiday Inn, I came away pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the comfortable bed made it easy to rest after a long day. Check-in was friendly and quick, and the shared areas felt modern and welcoming. A short stay, but a very enjoyable one.
10/10
It’s in a quiet area, and it’s an easy walk into Esslingen centre. The hotel was lovely and very clean, with a nice foyer space for a drink, a good breakfast, and pleasant staff. The beds were really comfortable, but the pillows were terrible.
