Out of all the hotels we stayed in during our two and a half months in Europe, this was the only one where the staff were truly cheerful and joyful. Everyone, from the front desk to the breakfast room team, had a wonderful attitude and sense of humour. I think that comes directly from the owner, who is awesome. The hotel is meticulously clean, with bright, comfortable rooms, and it sits beside a fantastic series of forest walks. Breakfast is typical European fare, all fresh and excellent quality. You get more for your money than at most hotels. We’d go back anytime!

A good, inexpensive place to spend a night. The airport planes aren’t very loud, and cleanliness is okay. Breakfast is very simple, with good-quality food, but no scrambled eggs or anything like that.

The people here made the stay for us. Everyone seemed genuinely happy, and that showed in the service, which was better than average. It’s a quiet spot a little off the beaten path, but getting to Stuttgart Centre and other places by public transit was easy. There’s also a cosy country inn across the fields, just a few minutes away on foot. For this price range, it was one of the best places we stayed in Europe during our two months there. Absolutely awesome, six stars out of five from us.

This isn’t in a tourist area, but if you have a reason to be in Berkheim, it’s a nice place to stay. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to get us the room we wanted. There was a very good range of options at the continental breakfast, too.

The staff were kind, understanding, and always willing to help. I’d strongly recommend staying here.
