The upstairs apartment was a lovely place to spend a day writing, and it can sleep 8 or more with a full kitchen, so it works well for a bigger group. My own room was small and simple, but comfortable and clean. Breakfast has a generous spread of yogurt, granola, fruit, bread and rolls, meats, and cheeses, though there's no restaurant at the moment because of staffing problems. Petra, one of the owners, and Maria are around in the mornings and are warm, welcoming, and helpful. I stayed for a week to visit friends nearby. The place has a bit of an Airbnb feel. Staff are mostly around for breakfast or when cleaning rooms; you get a door code with your booking confirmation, and there are small lockboxes outside near the back parking lot.

The room was quiet, clean, and stylish, and parking was very convenient. Breakfast came with a friendly smile from the employee, which made for a lovely start to the day. Highly recommend.

Self check-in can be a gamble here. We booked and paid, then waited over an hour for the key code. It only arrived after we called several times. If you need help through the emergency number, keep trying: it took four calls before someone picked up and assisted us.

Breakfast was brought to our table, and everything tasted really good. The rooms were very clean and a decent size, and getting checked in was easy. The hotel is good value for money, in a really cute village, and the place itself is lovely too. ❤️

The plates are huge, so arrive hungry. We had a wonderful dinner and left happy as a goat on a spring day in the mountains. The service was the most attentive I've ever had, friendly, kind, funny, and top-notch. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. What a great evening, thank you!
