We went on a Sunday and each table got a generous bowl of soup to start. The salad bar had several choices, with potato and carrot salad as my favorites. The main courses were all very good. Most of us ordered schnitzel or roast, and the baked cheese with vegetables was a tasty one of the few vegetarian choices. Great food, with friendly, good service.

The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, with very good food at reasonable prices, and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. Our room was simple but clean, with a great shower. The terrace gets sun until late in the evening, though it's right beside a village road and can be a little noisy. It wasn't noisy in the evening or at night. Families with small children might find the terrace less ideal because of the road. The charming village is about a 15-minute drive from Europa-Park. This was the cheapest and nicest place we stayed during our week-long holiday, and the value for money was excellent. Nothing fancy, just nice. There is no shuttle to Europa-Park like at some other hotels, but I didn't mind.

We were cycling and found covered parking behind the guesthouse for our bikes. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with a friendly atmosphere.

We only stopped for lunch and didn't stay overnight. The food was surprisingly good and great value for money. I'd recommend iT, and would gladly return if I'm in the area again.
