The quiet setting, easy parking, and lovely summer beer garden are all reasons I’ve enjoyed coming back several times. Rooms are well equipped, and the bathroom has both wall and floor heating, which you don’t usually get at an inn. Most visits have left me pleasantly surprised. Breakfast can be a mixed experience, though. When the boss makes it, things are rather sparse. I ordered scrambled eggs once, and the portion was so large it belonged in the record books, made from a whole egg. I’ve never seen that before. Thankfully, a friendly woman prepares breakfast most days, and hers is much better. Other guests have told me they’ve had the same experience.

Avoid this place. The hotel was closed, with nobody there, and neither of the two phone numbers posted on the doors worked. It felt like a ghost building, and it’s appalling that it can still be booked. I was stuck there in the evening and had to quickly find another hotel.
