The village of Neukirchen b. Sulzbach-Rosenberg is only a half-hour train ride from Nuernberg, so it makes a nice starting point for a hike or bike ride. Afterwards, this restaurant is a lovely place to relax, and its setting suits the rural feel of the building. We ate here with family a couple of weeks ago. I really liked the salad bar, everything was fresh and tasty. The food was very good, including the weekday lunch buffet. It wasn't quite as good as ordering from the menu, but still good.

The owner is such a wonderful person, and her friendliness can be felt throughout the whole place. We had a plentiful, delicious meal, with very attentive service. We'd love to come back.

The roast tasted like it had come straight from a can and was inedible. This was our first time eating here, and when we wanted to complain, the chef wasn't there. With prices this high, the food should have much better flavor. What a cheek. Ideally, zero stars…
