Ferienhaus Rankwitz

We love spending time on the island, and the Thums family always make us feel welcome. There's plenty to enjoy, whether it's swimming in the Peene just outside the garden gate or walking to Rankwitz harbor for a delicious fish sandwich. The idyllic holiday home sits right on the Peene River and is thoughtfully furnished with everything you could need, even a sauna. Our dog is happy here too, thanks to the fenced property. We don't understand the negative comments about the furnishing style, since it's clear from the photos what to expect. Dear Thums family, keep it up, our next holiday is already booked!

We felt completely at ease in this cozy, comfortably furnished holiday home. A lovely place to unwind, highly recommend it!

The only thing we liked was the view from upstairs. The house we found smelled awful 🤢 and was dilapidated, nothing like the one shown online. Inside, the furnishings looked decades old, and the place badly needs renovation. The garden was neglected too, with rotten materials everywhere, indoors and out. The advertised fence was completely rotten and barely 50cm high. It was meant to keep our dog 🐕 away from the landlord's aggressive dogs, which barked nonstop whenever we moved. We paid over €1000 for 5 days in this ruin. Honestly, it wasn't worth even €100 and should be renovated immediately and inspected by Holidu. We're also sending Holidu photos. Worst vacation ever 😐

A peaceful place where I could really switch off. The house was lovely and had everything I could have expected, and I felt completely at ease. I'll definitely come back next year.
