Lerchenhof Reestow

Surrounded by forest and meadows and not far from a bay, this is a great place to chill and switch off from the outside world. The facilities are great too. The last few kilometers are along a dirt road. For me, it felt quite remote, and amenities like a supermarket, bar, or restaurant are about a 20-minute drive away.

The staff were warm and quick to help, and both apartments had everything we needed. We came back for a second stay because the place is so lovely. Our dog gets very nervous around New Year's fireworks, so finding somewhere quiet mattered a lot. It really is peaceful here.

You can see how much care the owners put into this place. Everything was spotless and in great shape, which made it exactly the kind of setting we wanted for a holiday. This was our second visit, and we think it's a fantastic place to stay.

In October, the kids were outdoors most of the time, and it was lovely to properly switch off. There was no traffic or plane noise, just nature. A small playground is there too, and you can rent bikes at several places nearby. We stayed in the apartment above the horse stables. We could sometimes hear the horses at night, but it didn't bother us. The apartment itself was great, with everything we needed and decor that fit the country house perfectly. Picking up the key was easy, and the woman there was really friendly. We’re definitely thinking about coming back.
