We managed to communicate well even though the woman spoke only German and our German is very poor. She was very nice. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, and there was a wheelchair for guests with limited mobility. The dressing room was spacious, and the rooms were clean and bright for this price range. The exterior also looks better than it does in the photo.

The large rooms were furnished in a modern, pleasant style by the very nice hosts, and both the beds and sofas were comfortable. The kitchen had the equipment described, though it could use a bit more. The building itself is showing its age, especially in the sticky doors and the electrical wiring.

The guesthouse is just a few metres from the lake, with plenty of parking out front, and Wi-Fi worked very well in our apartment. We stayed seven nights in three-bedroom apartment No. 9 and were generally satisfied. Communication with the owner and the office staff member was excellent: they replied quickly and tried to sort out any issues. The keys were left in a safe. The apartment had two rooms and a bathroom. One room was the living area with a kitchenette, while the bedroom had three beds and wardrobes. It could be darkened completely, and the beds were perfectly fine, with Ikea mattresses. The kitchen had a large kitchenette, but the dishwasher didn't work. Washing up supplies were provided. We were disappointed that basic appliances like the toaster and coffee maker were skimped on. Those cheap products are annoying for tenants and could easily start a fire. We also missed small things such as wine glasses and pot holders. There was plenty of bathroom storage, but the toilet brush looked like it needed replacing, and a toilet bowl freshener would be a nice extra. Dust strands hung from the ceiling and behind radiators throughout the apartment, and there were lots of spiders, some of them dead and clearly there for quite a while. Still, we'd recommend the guesthouse. It's good value for money.

The room was nicely furnished and well cared for. My phone barely got reception, and only outdoors. The hotel Wi-Fi was slow at first, then cut out completely. That happens, I suppose, and the quiet surroundings did help me relax. Thumbs up.
