The hotel is a little dated, though it’s kept in fairly good shape, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. We also had great Asian food at the restaurant. The setting is fantastic, right beside a beautiful lake, and it’s just over an hour from Berlin.

A lovely lake and friendly staff make this a great place for a weekend away with friends or as a couple. It’s quite remote, and the hotel is older, but that gives it some charm.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now. The second visit was just as good as the first.

After a frightening incident, this place is a no-go for us. The owner’s dogs grabbed and bit our small dog while we were there with our two young children. Thankfully, nothing worse happened.
