Bauernhof Lafrenz

We felt at ease from the start. The Lafrenz family were consistently friendly, attentive, and capable, and the warm, family atmosphere stood out. We enjoyed roasting bread on sticks by the campfire with complimentary drinks, as well as playing in the barn and on the playground. It’s clear that keeping guests happy matters here. We’re a family with children aged 9 and 11, and have no complaints at all. Please keep up the great work! Thanks so much for the wonderful service. We’d love to come back in two years 😊

We had a fantastic week in September at Haus Küstenwind, staying there as four people. Klausdorf is rural, but it’s a great starting point for longer bike rides. Don’t miss the breakfast buffet at the courtyard café, and the cakes are delicious. Many thanks to the Lafrenz family for a wonderful week. We’d love to return.

That one small drawback was the playground and guest area often being busy with café customers, despite a sign saying it was for holiday children. The owners can't control that, though maybe the space could be marked off more clearly. We'll be back next time! There was so much for everyone to enjoy. The kids rode ponies, petted goats, played, and zipped around the farm on all sorts of vehicles, while we could unwind in the sauna or the terrace jacuzzi in the evening. The houses are new, well kept, and really well equipped, and the owners and staff were warm and helpful. Stays run Friday to Friday for seven nights, which worked really well. You get to know the other families, and before long there's a nice little group meeting for pony rides in the morning or gathering at the playground later in the day. We'll spend our next holiday here too.
