We booked basement room No. 4 at short notice for four nights. It was quiet there, in a peaceful residential area, and we’d book it again 😊. The room was practical, with a small kitchenette, and had bedding and towels provided. Both the room and bathroom were clean.
The south beach is close and easy to reach, with beach bars to relax at, and it’s a lovely place to sunbathe or watch the beautiful sunsets. Shops are nearby too. I had a peaceful, wonderful holiday in the cozy little basement apartment from September 3 to 17, 2023, and made lots of lovely memories. Mr. Schwenn was always helpful when I needed him. The apartment had a strong cigarette smell, which was unpleasant and unacceptable for non-smokers. The landlord blamed the humidity. I only heard a few days later from the neighbors and cleaning staff that this was an issue. I feel I should be entitled to compensation.
The terrace was great for breakfast and dinner, and the view over Burger Binnensee was magnificent. The place was in excellent condition, with nearly everything you could need: a dishwasher, oven, stove, toaster, egg cooker, shared washer and dryer, a large flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi.
The owners are very friendly. We’ve stayed here several times and have always been really satisfied. Everything was great, and I’d definitely recommend it.
